Safeguarding Codes of Conduct
and Policies
Berkhamsted Bowmen is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for everyone.
Safeguarding is the preventative measures that Archery GB and affiliated clubs take to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe.
Archery GB Safeguarding Policy and Guidance can be viewed on their website below:
All our activities follow the Archery GB policy and guidance. We do this by:
- Creating and maintaining the safest environment possible
- Ensuring that the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults is priority.
The policy and guidelines are openly available to all club members and parents of club juniors. Welfare Officer details and copies of the Codes or Conducts and Policies are also available in hard copy in the club container at Cow Roast.
Members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns that they may have about any aspect of the club with the Club Welfare Officer.
Berkhamsted Bowmen Club Welfare Officer is the first point of contact to report any concern regarding any abuse. Contact: Debby Lilley: welfare@berkhamsted-bowmen.org.uk. Alternatively, the Club Chairman or Secretary may be contacted.
You can also report your safeguarding or discrimination concerns directly to Archery GB.
